Cardiac CT & MR Fellowship Training
(Clinical & Research)
Cardiac CT and MRI clinical and Research Fellowships are offered by Dr Duerinckx. Dr Duerinckx was the Chairman of Radiology and Director of Cardiovascular CT/MR at the MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH. The purpose of this web site is to provide information for Visitors to Cleveland, OH interested in Training Programs to learn about Cardiovascular CT, CTA, MR or MRI, and other advances in Radiology and Cardiology. We also offer Clinical fellowships (Neuro, abdominal, interventional, chest, breast).
The Radiology Department at MetroHealth, a Case University affiliated medical campus, has recently installed some of the most advanced CT and MR technology to allow the performance of Cardiac CT and MR examinations. We used to offer a variety of training and educational programs in this field to expose clinicians, technologists and other interested parties to this new technology.

If you passed USMLE Step 3:
For physicians trained outside the USA: we can help you apply for an H1B visa to be used during a 2 year Clinical and/or Research fellowship (with a "trainee" Ohio Medical license, which does not allow us to bill for your clinical services if done without supervision) . You could change your H1B status after 2 year fellowship (as a "trainee") to become a Radiology faculty member (and be eligable to apply for an Ohio Medical license) at the beginning of your third year in the USA - assuming that you find a job as an academic radiologist in Ohio. After spending 4 years total at the same USA academic medical center, you would be eligible (if you are a radiologist) to sit for the American Board of Radiology (ABR) examination. However you NEED to pass USMLE Step 3 to be able to apply for a H1 visa to start this process. If interested, contact us and let us know when you plan on taking USMLE Step 3.
