Dr Duerinckx is the Chairman of the Cardiac Subcommittee for the 2008 RSNA Scientific Program Committee (SPC). Cardiac CT & MR Imaging are becoming more visible at RSNA.

The RSNA is the Radiological Society of North America. Dr Duerinckx is also a Board member of the North American Society for Cardiac Imaging (NASCI).

For now, this unique scanner is only at Metrohealth. Both 256 and 64 slice Cardiac CT and MRI courses and Visiting Fellowships were offered by Dr Duerinckx and his team (and will continue to be offered in a new location). Dr Duerinckx was the Chairman of Radiology and Director of Cardiovascular CT/MR at the MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH from Jan 1, 2007 till Feb 5, 2008, and remains -for now- at Metrohealth as a special consultant. The purpose of this web site is to provide information for Visitors interested in Training Programs to learn about Cardiovascular CT, CTA, MR or MRI, and other advances in Radiology and Cardiology.

  Next 320, 256 & 64 slice Cardiac CT Course at a new location (TBA) in 2008

The Radiology Department at MetroHealth, a Case University affiliated medical campus, has recently installed some of the most advanced CT and MR technology to allow the performance of Cardiac CT and MR examinations. Under Dr Duerinkcx they offered a variety of training and educational programs in this field to expose clinicians, technologists and other interested parties to this new technology.

During each 2-day course, participants will have extensive exposure to interpretation of coronary CT angiography data sets, including hands-on evaluation of 50 cases, some with correlation to invasive coronary angiography.
