Dr Duerinckx is Professor and Chairman of Radiology at the Howard University College of Medicine and HUH in Washington, DC. He is an international educator and consultant and a cardiac radiologist.

Dr Duerinckx is a Past President (1999-2001) and an active Board member (1995-2011) of the North American Society for Cardiac Imaging (NASCI).
In 2011 -2013 he rejoined the Cardiac Imaging (IMG) Joint Committee of the Council on Cardiovascular Radiology & Intervention (CVRI) and Council on Clinical Cardiology (CLCD) of the American Heart Association, with a first meeting in Orlando, FL on Nov 13, 2011.
Dr Duerinckx recently joined and now is on the Editorial Board of the Cardiology section for the European Journal of Radiology published by ELSEVIER.
Dr Duerinckx has also, for a very long time, been on the Ediorial Board (in different roles) of the International Journal of Cardiac Imaging published by SPRINGER.

Dr Duerinckx  is a regular international guest speaker, such as: CARS 2012, June 27-30, 2012 in Pisa, Italy; the 9th International Congress on Coronary Artery Disease (ICCAD), Oct 23-26, 2011 in Venice, Italy; and the Eastern Radiological Society on Monday, April 4, 2011 in Tampa, FL, USA.
Dr Duerinckx has been active in many professional organizations, and was the Chairman of the Cardiac Subcommittee for the 2008, 2009 and 2010 RSNA Scientific Program Committee (SPC). The RSNA is the Radiological Society of North America. Cardiac CT & MR Imaging are becoming more visible at RSNA.

We hope to restart the Howard University RADIOLOGY RESIDENCY Training program within the near future (July 2015 or 2016). We are close to the Washington DC V.A. Medical Center and its leadership, and other teaching insitutions in Washington, DC.

                   Washington, DC in 2014-2015 (new dates, TBA).

HISTORY: Dr Duerinckx's previous 320, 256 & 64 slice "International" Cardiac CTA Course was April 2-5, 2009 in Naples, Florida at the Naples Grande Beach Resort, an LXR Resort. Dr Duerinckx has worked with some of the most advanced CT and MR technology to allow the performance of Cardiac CT and MR examinations. Dr Duerinkcx offfers a variety of training and educational programs in this field to expose clinicians, technologists and other interested parties to this new technology.
